Lego: Brick Wonders

Primary 5 had a fantastic time today on their class trip to Paisley Museum. They were invited in to the museum this morning before it was even open to the public, and were able to enjoy the Brick Wonders Lego Exhibition with their classmates.

Many were amazed to discover that Warren Elsmore has created a career out of building Lego structures, and all were impressed with his brick masterpieces.

It was a great opportunity for teamwork too; the class undertook challenges, working together to build structures and solve cryptic clues.

A huge thank you to Ruth at Paisley Museum for being a wonderful host, and also to our two parent helpers, Donna Duff and Leanne Johnston, who were a great help throughout the morning! :)

Our Diwali Assembly

A huge well done to all of the Primary 5 pupils for their hard work in preparation for today's assembly on the theme of Diwali. The pupils worked incredibly hard to learn all of their lines for the assembly; which included a presentation on Diwali, as well as singing, dancing, and also a play. All of the class showed dedication and determination when rehearsing, and all of their hard work paid off today as our assembly was a success. It was lovely to see so many family and friends make it to see our young performers. What a perfect start to our October holiday! :)
