Back to school!

Primary 5 have settled in wonderfully after the long summer holiday and have already been very busy! We have had a terrific start to the year so far as we have been one of the best behaved classes two weeks in a row! Keep it up Room 11!

In RME, we learned all about Mosques by going on a virtual tour and also had a go at praying ourselves which was great fun. We learned about the Five Pillars of Islam and wrote a diary entry about a 'Day at the Mosque'.

We are starting a new Science topic this week and will be learning all about 'Light and Sound'. Exciting!

Primary 5 is also proving to be an exciting year for Room 11 as we are learning French. The children have been practising very hard and are now able to do their Check-In in a different language. Fantastic!

The children have also started learning two different sports this term in Gym - hockey and basketball.

Miss Arthurs has thoroughly enjoyed working with Primary 5 so far and hopes they keep up the good work!
