Our Amazing New School!

Well I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas! We all did! We are glad to be back at school!

Wow we were all so excited to finally see our 'new' school! Its amazing! The teaching walls in the classroom make the rooms look so tidy and new. Our classroom is huge compared to our old classroom at Moorpark! Its fantastic! We'll love learning about our new topic in here!

Everyone loves our fresh new toilets which are pretty in pink for the girls and a bright blue for the boys! The gym hall and dining hall are a fantastic size and are a great place for hockey.

A new year and a new topic! We're excited about our new topic 'Let's Rock the 60's!' We want to learn about the 60's, the ways in which it differs from today and about events from the 60's. Not only that we are excited to learn about rockbands from the 60's.

We have created our own rockbands called 'The Flames', 'Colour Notes', 'Mr Rock', 'Hot Flamz', 'Dangerous Phoenix' and 'Fire Power'. On Friday the 20th of January we had a photoshoot with our band.

So far we have planned our topic, chosen band names, designed fantastic band logos and created a character for ourselves as rock stars!

We can't wait to learn more about our topic!!
